Chris Caines, lives in Sydney where he has a digital media production studio developing work for museum displays, cd-rom games, broadcast graphics and the web. He has shown work at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Tate, London; the State galleries of NSW and QLD; and the Cannes, Berlin, London, Venice and Tokyo film festivals. During the residency at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok he developed a new online work based loosely around elements of Thai history, weaving them into a piece using the structure of classical Thai textiles as the form of the narrative.
