Studies of Asia : A Statement for Australian Schools
Studies of Asia : A Statement for Australian Schools assists and guides curriculum decision makers. This involves the whole school community working together to include learning about Asia in all subject areas. In addition to Asia-specific units, themes and language learning programs, it encourages teachers to include Asian examples and references when opportunities arise.
The statement outlines a clear approach, includes critical checkpoints and definitions and takes into account existing curriculum policy and practices.
